Simple Shapes Cut-Outs (pdf)
Paddy is learning about symmetry in art. Today I showed him the shape cut-outs and asked him which ones have at least one line of symmetry. He did pretty well!
- Here's a simple art project.
- More symmetrical art projects for kids including some autumn and Halloween themes.
- Here are some symmetry worksheets.
- Here's a symmetry game, for year 3, probably too tough for Paddy right now.
- A lesson plan with several activities.
- These Polish paper cut-outs are really cool!
Would it be cheating if I printed out the pdf on paper and assigned my five year old to cut them out and then use them, lol?
