Keeping Calendars

Google Calendar lets you record your activities and even color-code with different categories, and integrate other peoples' calendars with yours. One other thing I discovered today was that you can attach Google documents to events. That means I can hook my lesson plans and notes on to the appropriate homeschooling day. That's a nice option. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

  1. I use Google Calendar too ... it's been a big help. I print out a copy of my weekly calendar ... a few weeks at a time ... and put it on the fridge. I didn't know about these gadgets, though. I can color code my entries? Such bliss!! (Yes, I am that much of a geek.)

  2. May I ask how you color code things in Google Calendar? I don't see that feature. :-)

  3. I just saw your question! I created different calendars.... basically one for each older kid and then a couple of others (holidays, places to go, etc).
