Some online free resources that I collected to go with Year 1 (see sidebar for my syllabi for the first quarter)

• Word Mastery -- a course in phonics
• Number Primer (Ray's Primary Arithmetic recommends this type of practice in "numbering" before starting arithmetic proper -- this seems to overlap pretty well with MEP Year 1)

What I'm planning to do is print out a bit at a time and add to a notebook. That way it will be easy to see what to review and practice.

Rather than design a plan for these based on the calendar I'll probably just make a check-off sheet like a Montessori workplan that includes a place to note presentation, practice, recitation, review.
