I was hoping my love of biology** would rub off on my kids, I'm not seeing much of it though. This was a fascinating read, Willa!

**I realized a few years ago that I like biology as a "lifestyle" not as a science - I don't want to study it to death and memorize a gazillion biochemical reactions, I just want to observe the natural world (including people and their processes) and see what makes it all 'tick'. :)Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13750119018720696852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2039160066439602962.post-37405381290853265292011-10-15T12:41:59.370-07:002011-10-15T12:41:59.370-07:00This is timely Willa as my dd Violet (15) and I ar...This is timely Willa as my dd Violet (15) and I are slogging (and I mean slogging) through her first hs biology work. Besides natural science and biology related nature study this is proving to be pretty boring as there is SO much minutia to get through. I appreciate your links to the sites you posted and hope to peruse some of them with her. I also just grabbed a bunch of books at the library to supplement our current text, which is fine, but just not really grabbing either of us. Anyhoo, thanks so much for all your thoughts here and hope to hear about how your year goes with your son. xo MeredithSweetness and Lighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00018458789487126482noreply@blogger.com
